The goal at Hope Helps is to give cancer treatment, support and prevention groups such as The Australian Sarcoma Study Group and OnTrac@PeterMac better opportunities to make a difference in the lives of cancer patients and their families.

As an ongoing fundraiser for the year I would like Hope Helps to create our own recipe book. I am going to be writing a recipe book filled with everyone's favourites from their childhood and adult lives.
Although this is straying a little from our normal fundraisng efforts Hope Helps is all about giving hope to those who need it most and right now that effort needs to be focused on the Victorian Bush Fires during February. The bush fires have devastated so many peoples lives and I know we are all sitting around asking what can I do. This is so much bigger than us all but we can help. The Red Cross is asking us to all donate money and in an effort to do this I want to run a huge fundraiser.

Following on from the huge success of the 2008 Charity match Mazenod Old Collegians and Wheelers Hill Cricket Clubs bring the second Hope Helps Charity Match for 2009.
